It’s been a week today! I’ve spent 3 amazing days in Palermo, with a fantastic host who left me his house keys and an apartment in Palermo’s center to myself! palermo is an amazing city! It’s got charm,an astonishing architecture, cheap drinks and the best food.

On monday I’ve left Palermo to Piana degli Albanesi, walked 27km uphill, arrived in Piana went to yoga class with my host and  ate the best cannolo in the world! Visited the lake and Portella della ginestra where in 1947 a bandit called Giuliano and his gang shoot 11 people celebrating mayday.

Tuesday morning walked to Corleone, 36 km, under the rain and strong winds. Playing Jimmy hendrix on my ipad helped me out reduce the swearing. A dodgy truck driver pulled over and openly invited me for a quicky, I was so pissed off for the weather, the wind just broke  my umbrella by than,  that I’ve treatened him to carve his lungs out and use them to swipe my sweat off. he sped up his way to hell.

Arrived in Corleone and fell in love with the place and his people! In fact i was meant to leave 2 days ago but here I am still here!  you can breath the coloured history of Corleone walking around the maze of its tiny streets. Absolutely charming town populated by (as its name suggests) golden hearted people! Tonight karaoke with my new friends and tomorrow up early , walking to Palazzo Adriano (location of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso!!!)
